Also if the maps would be saved locally and not on your account then you would lose the maps everytime you log in i guess.

Compared to console, PC SP maps already have double the object budget (14000 objects for PC SP maps, vs 7000 objects per PC Multiplayer/any console map. All other budgets are the same. You can't have overbudget maps on console, my editormod only allows publishing overbudget maps on PC.
