Hello, I don't want to be the grim reaper, but my Octavia VRS has the EPC light come on whenever I accelerate (usually above 40mph). I had it into Skoda, and they diagnosed a faulty turbo actuator. It's a black plastic module with 2 pipes coming from it at the top lefthand side of the engine bay just behind the plastic engine cover. Part No. 076906051A from seat/skoda/vw/audi. I got the faulty sensor (which determined EPC light, then DPF light, then general engine anomaly) changed with no probs under warranty by my Skoda dealer. It idles at 11/1200 rpm so managed to crawl it home using gears. Vag com reads - accelerator position sensor too high. the epc light is on and wont reset. It did it before but turning the car off and on solved the problem. Tried a new pedal from a golf gti but doesnt seem to be the problem.
