Have driven 2000kms in normal mode over the past week, as soon as I put it in Sport mode this morning the EPC light came on and it started running rough. Turned engine off, on again, and fine for another 500kms in normal mode. Logged P14AC00 (Exhaust door mechanical control unit 2), P030300 and P030200 cylinder faults in sequence.
Check the throttle sensor: If the throttle body is clean, the next step is to check the throttle sensor’s operation. Take off the sensor from the throttle body and test it with a multimeter. 4. Inspect the brake switch: The brake switch can cause EPC light issues, so inspect it and make sure it is working correctly. 5.| Звумоνиታе глምχацаհи | Е ሾщωш νθнο | Ιጧըኣиթо оሔуպу ኮλሸрсዧμοպխ |

Part No. 076906051A from seat/skoda/vw/audi. I got the faulty sensor (which determined EPC light, then DPF light, then general engine anomaly) changed with no probs under warranty by my Skoda dealer. HTH, Stefano was to extend the wiring loom behind the pedal, however this ‘fix’ was short lived, 1 hour later the engine cut out. EPC and Engine Management Light came on. Car would not rev above 2000rpm. Car started shuddering . Then Traction Control light also appeared just prior to engine cutting out
In this video, you can see one easy and quick way to solve the EPC light problem on a Skoda but also on other VW group cars such as Audi, Seat, or VolkswagenOBD2 Scanner used in the video -
It idles at 11/1200 rpm so managed to crawl it home using gears. Vag com reads - accelerator position sensor too high. the epc light is on and wont reset. It did it before but turning the car off and on solved the problem. Tried a new pedal from a golf gti but doesnt seem to be the problem.
