Heroes 3 is a fantastic game, probably the game I have played more than any other in my life. Of course, the graphics are 2D, but even for an older game I still think the artwork looks amazing. The very basic concept is that you will always start with (usually) one Hero, who is your main character, although you can recruit others. Heroes of Might and Magic III: HD Edition was released on the Steam store in 2015. In this beginner friendly gameplay video, I play as the Castle faction on
HotA and WoG are mods that work with original Heroes 3, VCMI is basically a new game. Still, they were ported by enthusiasts as VCMI mods, offering limited range of their features. When more VCMI features come, they may be used to re-implement missing parts of mods. For example VCMI scripting (planned future feature) while not being WoG focused
I got all three at the same time, so I was able to take them in order, and I found 2 to be pretty good, but when I go back to a game in that series, it's almost always 3. 2 certainly had its charms, but IMO 1 is the best environment-wise, and 3 is the best play-wise. So I guess my preferences go: 3, 1, 2.
Asha a.k.a. The Spider Queen (Goddess), a.k.a. Multifaced is the primordial dragon, creator of the world of Ashan, sister of Urgash and mother of the six elemental dragons: Elrath, Malassa, Sylanna, Arkath, Ylath and Shalassa. While she is well-known as the "Dragon of Order", Asha appears in many different forms. Asha and Urgash fought against each other in the Genesis, during which Asha

The ancient behemoth is the upgrade to the behemoth, the seventh-level creature of the Stronghold faction in Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia. It can be recruited from the upgraded behemoth lair. The attack of these giant creatures is so overwhelming it reduces their target’s ability to mount further defenses. The attack of the behemoth reduces target defense value
Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra is the third game in the role-playing video game series Might and Magic. Released in 1991, it is the predecessor to Might and Magic IV: Clouds of Xeen and the sequel to Might and Magic II: Gates to Another World. A Sega Genesis version was developed, but never released. 1. Earth Magic - slow- most used spell, town portal and implosion 2. Air Magic - mass haste kick ass, dimension door and fly are also great 3. Water Magic - mass bless is very good, but my favourite spell is clone (especially if you cast that spell on your awesome commander) 4. Fire Magic - very close to water magic. Only great spell
In addition to the 7 campaigns and 40 scenarios found in Heroes III, Shadow of Death adds seven more new campaigns and 38 new scenarios. This combines to create a mind-numbing amount of gaming
By far. It’s a pity the mechanics of the game are so wonky because the story and music are just superb . The Life, Death, and Nature campaigns are probably the best three campaigns in the entire series. Order and Might aren’t quite as good, but still good, and tie up some of HoMM3’s major loose ends. On your way you'll see a Still Ring of the Dragon guarded by Gold Dragons. You have to get the ring to get to the Azure Dragons, so get it! Go through the warp gate behind the red Border Gate. You The beholder is the third-tier creature of the Dungeon faction in Heroes of Might and Magic III. It can be recruited from the pillar of eyes. The beholder can be upgraded to the evil eye. Beholders and evil eyes can attack at range with rays projected from their eyes. At close range they attack with equal damage using their multiple tentacles. A useful ranged creature that does just as much Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Finally on PS Vita! Original Android version is required (v1.1.6 only).
